Desiccators
Desiccators are made from polypropylene/polycarbonate and are fully autoclavable.
Vacuum Desiccators are designed to hold a vacuum
up to 740mm
for 24 hours without greasing.
- Stopcock (PP) has a self lubricating PTFE plug to create a vacuum by shutting it
off and releasing it.
Non-vacuum Desiccators do not include a stopcock. Grease
should be applied to the flanges to make them air-tight.
